Our Team
In the first chapter of her career, Venus Jenkins gained substantial experience in various energy and water industry start-ups and scale-ups. With a passion for power generation strategic initiatives, she previously led the largest fiber infrastructure deployment in Orange County, CA. When she’s not working, Venus enjoys math, physics, and sharply scripted Netflix shows, and loves being outdoors with her husband and two daughters.
From 2001-2015, Michael was the CFO and EVP of Finance at GoDaddy.com. He guided GoDaddy.com from a small 45 person business with $10 million in sales in 2001 to a large public company with almost $2 Billion in sales in 2015. He was responsible for the company’s accounting, tax, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and day-to-day financial affairs, as well as oversight of the company’s Sarbanes-Oxley implementation, payment processing and Fraud Detection organization. Since he wore many hats over His 13+ years, he was also in charge of human resources, facilities, physical security and event planning. He has 4 patents to his name and helped define the SaaS business model at GoDaddy.
Cameron's career has focused on a range of climate solutions, from advocating for fossil fuel divestment to pioneering LoRa/IoT applications in power plants, contributing significantly to the renewable energy sector. He’s excited by the pace and challenge of start-ups and previously worked as the Director of Field Services at Opal. Cameron plays a key role at ChargeNet Stations, managing the deployment of Battery Energy Storage Systems, Solar carports, and DC Fast EV chargers, while building strong ties with financiers, landowners, and customers. He is committed to maintaining ChargeNet's high-standard customer service across all sectors, including in positioning the company for future growth. Cameron's holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and Sustainable Development from Appalachian State University, where he co-founded a university organization that steered $20 million into renewable energy.
Cristina is a highly skilled senior operations manager with over 15 years of experience in the utility and finance sectors. Most recently, she served as a program coordinator at People's Energy Cooperative Electric Utility, where she adeptly processed hundreds of interconnection applications annually. Her expertise lies in interconnection management and financial analysis, making her a valuable asset to any team. Throughout her career, Cristina has successfully overseen the interconnection of electric vehic le chargers, battery systems, and solar installations, all while effectively managing construction budgets and timelines. She is a strong communicator, having collaborated with clients, stakeholders, and team members across various industries. Cristina is driven by a passion for helping individuals and companies achieve their goals, earning recognition for her significant contributions in her field. She has also made notable improvements to energy management programs and rebates by evaluating local rate tariffs, solidifying her reputation as an industry leader in utility and finance.
Leah's professional background includes about 20 years as an Oracle & MySQL DBA/programmer, 4 years as a
freelance developer, and 2 years as a back end developer. Before ChargeNet, she worked with a startup called Smarticles developing custom Alexa skills. Starting at ChargeNet in 2021, Leah is responsible for backend development, with a fun tech stack that includes Go, Python, AWS, Postgres, Snowflake, OCPP. She enjoys learning about electric vehicle charging, energy management, and digging into all the million little details needed to make it work.
Ayat Amin started her career as a software engineer at KnuEdge, an A.I. company founded by the former chief administrator of NASA, Dan Goldin. After a few years, she left to get a Masters in Data, Development and Poverty from MITx. After her Masters, Ayat got hired as the first employee at an economic development start-up called The Opportunity Exchange. In May 2022, Ayat was hired as the Product Manager on the ChargeNet software team.
Johanan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental engineering from Yale University.
Afterward, he spent three impactful years at Roux Associates, an environmental consulting and
management firm, as a project manager. In this role, Johanan collaborated with battery
storage developers and other clean energy developers in Southern California to meet their project
needs from an environmental perspective. Over the last two years, Johanan has worked as a Project Manager at ChargeNet Stations, where his primary responsibility revolves around site development. He actively collaborate with stakeholders, ensuring that the final product of fast charging stations exceeds satisfactoryfor customers.
